one day Jen was out in the field, hitting things with a stick. Jen ran out of things to hit, and her stick broke, so Jen had to go get a new stick. then she came upon someone who was blue, and lost in the deepest and most profound of thoughts. the thinker sat upon a stump, going "HMMMM" really hard. clearly this was the most deep of thinkers. so Jen aksed, "hey what'chu thinkin about" and the blue person replied "very deep thoughts" "boy," said Jen, "that sounds like some very heavy thinking. i hope you have an epiphany soon." "i hope i do", replied the blue person. "i think all day and all night, but oddly i never seem to get anywhere." "oh there's your problem", said Jen. "you have to DO, because thinking isn't enough." the blue person was shocked and astounded. "are you saying... my brain lied to me??" the blue person aksed, voice quivering with terror and betrayal. "ayup" said Jen. Jen knows all about brains lying to people. "brains lie. trust me. my brain lied to me like... at least 241 times." "wow, that's a lot of lies." "indeed. you can't trust brains. sometimes you can only trust sticks. until they break. speaking of which, have you seen any sticks? mine just broke and i need a new one." the blue person looked around, rather shaken up to consider that his/her brain may have been lying the whole time. "uhhh sticks? haven't seen any... but then again, i wasn't looking." Jen looks at the stump the blue person sits upon. "that's a tree stump... usually, where there's trees, there's sticks... but i don't see any sticks." Jen was quite puzzled at the inexplicable stick shortage. "why are there no sticks?" Jen aksed. Jen realizes, maybe the blue person could think up an explanation. so she aksed, "hey, where do you suppose all the sticks went?" "oh, there was this big bonfire over that way..." the blue person pointed off in some distant direction. "you could see the smoke for miles, but i guess it died down. maybe whoever kindled it, took all the sticks in the area." that was at least an explanation. but it raised more questions. "what's the occasion for a massive bonfire?" Jen wondered aloud. "i dunno, maybe they just felt like it." blue person shrugged. Jen sighed in defeat. there were no sticks. "well. it looks like all i have left are my own bare hands." so Jen punched a rock so hard, her knuckles bled. the blue person was rather startled at Jen's sudden violence. "woah, what did that rock ever do to you??" "i am angered at this absence of sticks, and must take out my rage on innocent victims who can handle my senseless beatings!" blue person decided to keep a safe distance from Jen. THE END but not the end of these people
